The “X” motif quickly became the artists’ signature. After being approached by Japanese label BOUNTY HUNTER in 1999, KAWS produced his first vinyl figure. The lamp was re-released for the label’s twenty-fifth anniversary and featured a hamburger character with cartoon eyes and fangs.
