Joseph Altuzarra launched his women’s ready-to-wear brand in 2008. Raised in Paris, the Chinese-American and French designer worked for Marc Jacobs, Proenza Schouler and Ricardo Tisci prior to launching his own line. Altuzarra’s designs have been described as sexy, sophisticated and glamorous, with his flowing dresses, asymmetrical tops and fitted blazers becoming key pieces in the wardrobes of many women, especially following his 2014 CFDA Womenswear Designer of the Year award.
