An extremely sought-after pair of jeans from Number (N)ine’s Spring/Summer ‘06 ‘Welcome to the Shadow’. For the collection, Takahiro Miyashita heavily references the style of rock ‘n’ roll, in particular the style of American rock musician Axl Rose. Seen here are a pair of painter jeans from the collection which feature colorful splatters of paint on faded blue denim. Each pair of jeans was individually splattered with paint, making the paint marks different on every piece. The jeans also feature signature heart-shaped patch and ‘Pain’ tab of Number (N)ine jeans, which are likely an homage to Levi’s jeans.
