Union

Union invented modern streetwear culture. Opening in 1989, Union’s New York store in SoHo became the epicenter of downtown cool. James Jebbia, of Supreme fame, is one of Union’s original founders. Frequently collaborating with Stussy, Union introduced a curated collection of streetwear, emerging designers, and hard-to-find imports from the UK and Japan. An LA outpost named Union LA was opened by Union co-founder Eddie Cruz. While the New York Union store has since shuttered, Union LA continues the legacy of the original SoHo store. Union LA is currently operated by Chris Gibbs, an employee of the original NYC shop. Union LA focuses on showcasing up-and-coming designers alongside established labels from all over the world. Union LA makes its own line of clothing featuring Union-branded hoodies, joggers, and jackets. The Union brand is no stranger to creating culture. Union LA x Jordan collaborations have resulted in highly coveted drops of Jordan 1 Highs and Jordan 4 Taupe Haze styles. Other iconic Nike styles have been incorporated into the Union universe including Union LA x Nike Dunks. The Passport Pack Dunk Lows were inspired by Union LA owner Chirs Gibbs’ international travels and feature multiple unique colorways.
