OAK Men's Cropped Pants

OAK NYC was a New York-based fashion label founded in 2004 by Jeff Madalena and Louis Terline. The brand was known for its avant-garde streetwear as well as its community-based flagship store in NoHo, New York City. Madalena and Terline achieved some early successes with the monochromatic OAK clothing label, coming up alongside fellow streetwear start-ups such as Pyrex Vision and Hood By Air. The two sold OAK to American Apparel in 2013, but repurchased the brand in 2016 after American Apparel’s bankruptcy. Though the relaunch was initially successful, OAK NYC eventually folded in 2019, leaving a vast archive of iconic pieces that exemplify the 2010 streetwear boom.
