Pyrex Vision Banner

Pyrex Vision

Pyrex Vision was an American streetwear label founded in 2012 by Virgil Abloh. The brand was known for repurposing deadstock Champion and Polo Ralph Lauren items by printing its distinctive PYREX logo above the number 23, referencing Michael Jordan. The brand was part of a new wave of early 2010s streetwear brands, alongside brands like Hood By Air and Beentrill, among others. The Pyrex Vision brand was relatively short-lived, as Abloh closed it in 2013. Abloh didn't want it to be too commercial, and after legal issues with the name, he decided to focus on his newly founded label, Off-White, instead. Until his passing in 2021, Abloh brought the brand back on select occasions, such as his MCA exhibition in 2019. Abloh's friend and collaborator Tremaine Emory revived the brand posthumously through a capsule collection with his brand Denim Tears in 2022.
