For over 100 years, The Converse Rubber Shoe Company has made sneakers for athletes everywhere. While the high top version of it’s iconic All-Star sneaker was a massive success, Converse introduced a low version of the sneaker in 1957. Intended to be a casual companion to the sporty high top, the low All-Star was an immediate hit and has been a best seller for the brand since day one. While the mainline version is extremely popular, collaborations with Comme Des Garçons Play and Golf Wang have brought even more attention to Converse’s low silhouettes in recent years.
