Comme des Garcons × H&M
As part of H&M's series of high-profile designer collaborations, the Swedish retailer linked with Rei Kawakubo's Comme Des Garçons in 2008. For the opening of H&M's new flagship store in Tokyo, the two brands produced a collection that added CDG's typical motifs of polka dots, deconstruction, contrasting paneling and asymmetry to H&M's mass-market model. The H&M x Comme Des Garçons collaboration followed Roberto Cavalli and preceded Jimmy Choo. The collection included men's, women's and children's clothing, as well as exclusive accessories and a unisex fragrance.
