Marmot Biggie

Marmot is an American sporting goods and outdoor apparel brand founded in 1974 by Tom Boyd, David Huntley and Eric Reynolds. Established in Grand Junction, Colorado, the brand is popular among hikers and mountaineers and has become known for its high-quality outdoor equipment, including the classic Mammoth Parkas, also known as the Biggie coat.

The Marmot Biggie Jacket has long been the pinnacle of technical parka jackets, pioneering Gore-Tex fabrics and synthetic layering for optimal comfort and durability. After a crime surge surrounding the jacket in the early 2010s, Marmot took the Mammoth out of production. After its reintroduction a few years later, the Marmot Biggie coat was updated with Gore-Tex weather-resistant nylon outer layers, a 700-fill-power-down body and Dermizax fabrics and has since seen special releases in collaboration with brands like Beams and The Apartment Tokyo.
