Beams Plus, a diffusion label by the lifestyle brand Beams, launched in 1999. The goal of this line was to focus specifically on what the minds at Beams consider the golden age of American menswear —1940s to 1960s—and slightly adapt the clothing to appeal to the contemporary market. The strategy proved to be successful and over 20 years later, Beams Plus is still a respected label amongst those in the know, particularly for its jackets, shirts and sweatshirts.
