This JUNYA WATANABE COMME des GARÇONS sheer draped balloon skirt has an overall light, semi-sheer, and softly flowing texture. Rather than feeling heavy or stiff, the fabric has a lightweight, fluid quality. When light passes through certain areas, it reveals subtle translucent layers, giving the black fabric a sense of airiness within its deep tone.

The silhouette features a distinctly JUNYA WATANABE-style three-dimensional drape / balloon construction. Through generous fabric volume, draping, and gathered structure, the skirt creates a shape that sits somewhere between a balloon skirt, harem pants, and a draped skirt. The front fabric naturally falls toward the center, forming deep, soft folds, while the sides and hem are finished with irregular curved edges, giving the piece a sculptural presence even when still.

The waist features a wide fabric belt and side tie detail, allowing the fit and styling to be adjusted depending on how it is worn. When the tie falls at the side, it adds an asymmetric visual accent and brings the piece closer to the deconstructed silhouette language often seen in COMME des GARÇONS designs. The wide hem opening allows comfortable movement, while the uneven front, back, and draped lengths create a natural layered effect.

The waist can be adjusted with buttons, and the hip area and overall fabric volume are quite generous.
