DIESEL TERRY RICHARDSON "RIO CIDADE MARAVILHOSA" PHOTOBOOK - 2008

Terry Richardson was commissioned by denim brand Diesel to shoot the images that were shown in a special exhibition in 2007 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Since significantly more photos were available than could be shown, so Diesel and Terry Richardson decided to collect all into this release.

This edition was limited to 1,000 copies and was originally intended as a giveaway for the opening of the new store in Rio de Janeiro and only available in Brazil. "Rio, Cidade Maravilhosa (Rio, Wonderful City)" is divided into three parts:
- Celebrities
- Landscapes
- People.

Richardson has always been confronted with his art and sex, pointing to the hypocrisy of American culture in relation to both issues. This has today led to controversy over his working methods in the "Me Too" era.

He has also provided promotional images for many fashion designers (Gucci, Hilfiger, Levi’s, Eras, Anne Molinari and Baby Phat); His work has also featured in Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, GQ and Sports Illustrated. and he has photographed celebrities such as Kate Moss, Lindsay Lohan, Mickey Rourke, Daniel Day-Lewis, Johnny Knoxville, Maggie Gyllenhaal, and Amy Winehouse.

Rio, Cidade Maravilhosa is a hardcover volume with a pictorial dust cover over green panels on which title of the title is stamped in silver.
This book is offered in the Near Mint condition an exceptional find of this rare title.
This book has been carefully stored since 2008 in a clean, temperature and humidity controlled environment in factory packaging.

This is one of TWO books I bought as a gift in 2008 and kept it safe and in the condition that I received it.
