Seller Description
IJsboerke was a Belgian cycling team that was sponsored by the Belgian ice cream brand IJSBOERKE from 1973 until 1982. Based on what information I can find on cycling forums, it appears that the team only used the IJsboerke–Gios co-branding during the year of 1978. I was able to find a picture of cyclist Dietrich Thurau wearing this exact kit and a couple other team photos from that year. Ill note that despite having Puma branding, they were not the manufacturers of this kit - which I believe was made by an obscure old Swiss sporting store called Albert Müller. All lettering on the jersey seems to be chainstiched. Really awesome piece.
