medium-weight, soft-handled cotton flannel woven in a monochrome gingham check. subtle gathering at the seams — as the care label states, “the seams are purposefully uneven” — together with the patterned weave, gives the shirt a beautifully misshapen appearance.

the aw 07-08 collection was centred around biking culture, and the shirt features two slash-type pockets across the chest, with matt-textured zips and ball-chain pullers reminiscent of biker gear. the zip-front closure, boxy silhouette with no pleats at the back, and subtly rounded hem make this more of a jacket than a shirt. fold-out collar. grey mother-of-pearl buttons at the cuffs.

tagged size L, with a fitted cut that best suits a US Medium or EUR 48. measurements taken flat: armpit to armpit 53 cm, front length 71 cm, back length 73 cm, shoulder 45 cm, outside sleeve 65 cm, inside sleeve 49 cm.
