Ludicrously rare velvet tank top from Julius' first collection back in SS03! In this era, Horikawa was more interested in a sort of vampiric, Yohji Yamamoto-inspired aesthetic than the more sci-fi industrial stuff he would become known for later in his career. I've only seen a couple of these ever, and only this one in white (there was also a pink colorway!). Notably, the poem/manifesto on the underside of the size tag is still intact and legible, which is unusual for pieces from this season (I've owned some SS03 and FW03 and the print comes off SUPER fast). Made in Japan of 100% cotton.

Sizing: Tagged size 3, but fits loose. Basically unisex and almost free size (check the measurements though!) - wearing it more oversized, however, seems to be the objective of this piece, so as to emphasize its loucheness.

Condition: 7/10 - really, really good condition for a piece that's over 20 years old. There is a very minor stain on the left shoulder strap - I've done my best to clean it with soap/detergent/water but I didn't want to apply anything harsher to a piece of this age. For the record, I think it was sweet and sour sauce lol.
