This is an extremely rare fabric used for this cruiser, it has orange and blue threads creating a plaid highlight over a brown whipcord-esque cloth. The geometry of the pockets are also very unique. I estimate this piece to be from the early to mid 1950’s.

There are repairs that were recently made by Filson, as well as a few stains. However, for a serious collector, this is not the end of the world.

If you are unfamiliar, Filson is an outdoor clothing manufacturer based in Seattle, Washington. It was founded to provide miners with gear for their trip north to Alaska during the gold rush. This coat will last forever, and it will keep you warm out in the rain and cold. This garment has a lifetime warranty, and Filson will repair it for no charge if there is ever a problem with it.
