Up for sale is an Authentic Supreme Basquiat Button Up in Medium and Black
It released in FW13, as part of a large collaboration between Basquiat's estate and Supreme.
Basquiat is likely the single most influential artist of the 1980's, and truly reinvigorated the affinity for art with his amazing pieces.
Basquiat created art unlike any other, save for the underground New York scene. Even then, Basquiat was in a league of his own.
Sadly, he passed due to a cocaine overdose at age 27.
This artwork was untitled, but perfect. Basquiat would cross out things not to eliminate them, but for one to pay more attention to them.
The collection of words seemingly make no sense, but who besides him truly know what it means.
This piece is extremely rare, pretty much impossible to find these days.
It also remains in phenomenal condition, impeccable in every sense of the word.
