JUNYA WATANABE COMME des GARÇONS 2017 F/W Double Wrap Chain Belt

Condition: unused

Description
Junya Watanabe's 2017 F/W season reinterprets punk elements such as tartan check and leopard into structural silhouettes. It is a collection where the rough mood of subculture coexists with Junya's signature precise construction.

This double wrap chain belt pairs well with the atmosphere of that season. Featuring a design that combines a long black strap with a dark-toned chain, it is characterized by a style worn wrapped twice. The chains connected repeatedly along the strap go beyond simple decoration to shape the overall form of the belt.

The notable aspect of this piece is the lines created as the strap and chain overlap, rather than a flashy gloss. While carrying the rough impression of punk accessories, a sense of order can also be read in the combination of the slender strap and repeating links. It is a piece worth connecting the punk mood and structural approach of 17FW from the perspective of an accessory.

For styling, we suggest continuing the rough vibe with washed denim and boots, or highlighting just the belt over neat black trousers. Rather than complicating the outfit's composition, it is a way to focus the details on the waistline.

For those who enjoy a difference in composition over the amount of decoration. A great piece to add Junya's punk sensibility to everyday attire.
