DelMonico Books published this catalogue with the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago, which organized Figures of Speech in 2019 and toured it through 2023. Curator Michael Darling edited it, with texts by Abloh, Rem Koolhaas, Anna Wintour, Kim Jones, Michèle Lamy, Heron Preston, Samuel Ross, Tremaine Emory, Matthew Williams, and many more. This edition was published in 2022 for the exhibition's run at the Brooklyn Museum.

At nearly 500 pages, it is a full record of Abloh's work across art, architecture, streetwear, and high fashion, with archival images and behind-the-scenes material from his own files, annotated by Abloh himself. It is a reference for designers and for anyone who wants to understand how he worked, and its size makes it a centerpiece on a shelf or table.
