The Houston Texans joined the NFL as an expansion team in 2002, becoming Houston's first NFL franchise since the Oilers departed in 1996. The team's distinctive bull logo and red, navy, and white color scheme quickly became recognizable symbols in professional football. Official NFL team merchandise like this Reebok cap appeals to football fans, collectors of sports memorabilia, and Houston residents showing team pride. Reebok held the official NFL apparel license from 2002-2011, making items from this era collectible for fans of vintage sports gear.
