Seller Description
Vintage Coach Taylor Messenger / Briefcase 5241
A beautifully aged Coach Taylor crafted in tan/brown natural full-grain leather, with the rich patina and character that develops from years of use.
This substantial work bag combines the structure of a traditional briefcase with the versatility of a messenger bag. It features a leather top handle and detachable adjustable shoulder strap with leather shoulder pad, allowing it to be carried by hand or over the shoulder.
The front flap is secured by two leather buckle straps and opens to two large exterior pockets. The spacious interior includes multiple compartments and a zippered pocket, while a large slip pocket runs across the back of the bag.
Interior Coach creed: D043-5241. The creed states that the bag was handcrafted in China from natural full-grain leather.
Measurements: approximately 16"W × 11"H × 6"D.
Condition: Well used and intentionally presented in its naturally aged state. The leather has extensive patina, scuffs, scratches, surface wear and color variation throughout, particularly across the flap, handle, straps and edges. The bag remains structurally sound and the interior presents well. Please review all photographs closely for the exact condition and character of the leather.
Included: Coach Taylor bag, detachable adjustable leather shoulder strap with shoulder pad, and original Coach leather hangtag.
