In 1941, Coach was founded by a group of artisans in New York who were fascinated by leather. After several years of making quality bags, the company introduced its signature glove-tanned cowhide in 1958. The durable and flexible material was a hit amongst women and the company grew tremendously from then on, creating iconic bag after bag. To this day, bags and luggage remain Coach’s most popular products, although they do offer other accessories as well. In the beginning of 2020, Coach also announced its collaboration with famed streetwear brand BAPE.
