While it has many competitors, Zara is hands down the biggest fast fashion brand in the world. In 1975, Amancio Ortega Gaona opened the first Zara in his home country of Spain. Since then, the brand has expanded to approximately 6,000 stores around the world, many of them in Europe. As a fast fashion brand, Zara isn’t necessarily known for specific pieces of clothing, as opposed to how quickly it sells out of items and restocks its stores with different styles. While it’s difficult to visit a Zara and find a piece that was there weeks ago, the chances of finding it are higher on Grailed.
