Pelle Pelle Women's Leather Jackets

Pelle Pelle is an American jacket brand founded in 1978 by Marc Buchanan. Established in Auburn Hills, Michigan, Pelle Pelle is known for its premium leather jackets, which became popular staples among the early hip-hop communities. Pelle Pelle, Italian for "leather leather," was one of the most successful urban brands of the early 1990s, with the Pelle Pelle leather jacket worn by stars like Will Smith, Martin Lawrence and the Notorious B.I.G. While early versions of the Pelle coat followed colorful maximalist designs, often adorned with rhinestones and other details, the Pelle Pelle brand expanded into other clothing items varsity jackets, hoodies and tracksuits over time. The brand was relaunched in 2023 after Buchanan had to stop the brand in 2019 due to a decline in sales.
