Kapital Men's Clothing
Kapital is a Japanese fashion brand founded in 1984 by Toshikiyo Hirata. Established in the "denim capital" Kojima District near Okayama, Kapital became world-renowned for its premium denim creations, textiles and patchwork designs with a distinctive distressed look and feel. Now run by Toshikiyo's son Kiro Hirata, Kapital became famous for blending vintage Americana with traditional Japanese techniques such as Boro denim and Sashiko stitching. In 2010, Kapital established its Kapital Kountry line, which specializes in dying and washing techniques and is also known for popular items like trucker hats as well as Kapital Kountry motifs like the skeleton and the smiley face as shown on Kapital socks and knitwear.
