Cherry LA is an American menswear label founded in 2017. Helmed by long-time friends Messrs Joseph Perez and David Levy, the brand is known for bringing together classic Americana staples with a streetwear twist. Founders Perez and Levy were born outside of the US and moved to Los Angeles as children. This outsider perspective informs Cherry LA’s unique perspective to American menswear staples. Referencing Ivy League prep lifestyle as well as classic turn of the century workwear and car culture, Cherry LA crafts a truly unique take on American design. Cherry LA hoodies riff on vintage t-shirt graphics. Yellow smiley face motifs, evoking the frequent motif of Japanese menswear cult favorite Kapital, are turned on their head with an inventive winking design.
