Champion Men's Overalls & Jumpsuits

While all four major sports had been invented by 1919, sportswear was definitely in its infancy. Enter the Feinbloom brothers. The pair’s brand gained early notoriety for working on uniforms for the University of Michigan, and expanded into pop culture thanks to its popular sweatshirt design. The brand we know now as Champion gained national notoriety as the official uniform manufacturers for the NFL in the 1970s as well as the NBA for most of the 1990s. The brand’s sweatshirts, sweatpants and accessories were inescapable in the ’90s and the decade’s recent wave of nostalgia has brought Champion back bigger than ever.

While nostalgia has played a major role in Champion’s comeback, collaborations with the right brands has also improved the brand’s image tremendously. Thanks to Champion’s long-term role in sportswear, collaborations with brands like Supreme and Undefeated make just as much sense as working with Vetements.
