C2H4 Men's Parkas
Named after the hydrocarbon Ethylene, which is often used in the production of plastic, C2H4 is a Los Angeles-based clothing brand founded in 2014 by Shanghai-born designer Yixi Chen. Ethylene is a homophone for Yixi, which is why both the brand's name and the approach to fashion are based on chemistry. C2H4 makes both women's- and menswear influenced by science and subversive cultures. Its futuristic designs, often hued in neutral clinical tones, have led the young brand to critical acclaim. In its short history, the brand has already worked on collaborative collections with household names such as Lacoste, Mastermind, Vans and Number (N)ine.
