Jil Sander × Uniqlo

A standout in Uniqlo’s long list of collaborations that include collections with UNDERCOVER, Engineered Garments and JW Anderson, the Japanese mass retailer first worked with German designer brand Jil Sander in 2009. J+, as the partnership was called, lasted for a couple of seasons until 2011 and made a brief comeback in 2020, mixing Jil Sander's luxury designs with Uniqlo's affordable quality.

Most of the Uniqlo Jil Sander pieces followed the signature minimalism Jil Sander has become renowned for, with striped Jil Sander Uniqlo shirts, selvedge denim and extensive outerwear pieces. Among the more popular items is the Uniqlo x Jil Sander puffer jacket, which combines Uniqlo's seamless technology with Jil Sander's high-end design.
