Chrome Hearts × Comme des Garcons

While the two brands might seem distant aesthetically, Chrome Hearts and Comme Des Garçons have been kindred spirits since the early 1990s. The avant-garde luxury brands have collaborated on a collection of jewelry and co-branded apparel on several occasions, most notably in 2007 and 2021.
CDG's Rei Kawakubo has been a fan of the American biker brand since its early beginnings and even invited Chrome Hearts' Richard Stark to display his exclusive designs at the CDG flagship in Aoyama, Tokyo in 1991. The 2021 collection featured a 19-piece Japan-exclusive offering of Chrome Hearts x Comme des Garçons items, including dresses, shirting, suits and outerwear. Additionally, Chrome Hearts has also collaborated on limited items with Kawakubo's retail empire, Dover Street Market, one of the few official third-party Chrome Hearts retailers.
