Fashion's prince of darkness, Rick Owens, has almost singlehandedly been responsible for his very own lane within the fashion scape. Through his avant-garde, geometric designs and riffs on classic sneakers and garments, the American designer has built a loyal following for his eponymous label, his collaborations and DRKSHDW. It is through the latter, more accessible, sublabel that Rick Owens released the Gimp Hoodie, a play on the traditional zipped hooded sweater featuring premium cotton fleece and a zipper that runs from the hem all the way up through the hood. While most Rick Owens Gimp Hoodies come in his signature black colored cotton, some renditions feature different materials and colorways, such as brown, grey and pink.
