Marvel Bapesta

BAPE has always been known to tap into popular culture, its logo literally comes from the Planet Of The Apes, but when the Japanese streetwear legends invited the Avengers to assemble in Tokyo through their collaboration with Marvel Comics, it was one of those partnerships that felt like true synergy. The two cultural powerhouses have collaborated on t-shirts, hoodies, footwear and accessories showing the heroic Marvel characters alongside BAPE staples like Baby Milo and the Ape. Marvel and BAPE first worked together on Bapestas in 2005, showing the Marvel logo on the heel. Sixteen years later, BAPE released new Marvel Bapestas featuring footwear inspired by characters like Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk and Thor. In 2022, the two continued the Marvel BAPE shoes endeavor with new characters, including Black Widow, Rocket Raccoon and Japan-exclusive versions with Spider-Man, Venom and Doctor Strange.
