Double Waist Sweatpants

Inspired by streetwear traditions of wearing oversized baggy pants below the waist, several brands started adopting the style by incorporating it into their designs. Creating an illusion of wearing two pairs at once, the double waist joggers show a different type of pants protruding from the other, allowing for new creative ways of styling and combining materials.

While traditional sweatpants have become increasingly more accepted in mainstream fashion, double waisted sweatpants have enhanced the style's credibility, with brands like Balenciaga, Vetements and Alexander Wang using the pre-styled design for their versions of double waisted sweats in recent years, which in turn have inspired countless others.
