Seller Description
This is an early Buco J-24 double-rider jacket. The model was first introduced by the Joseph Buegeleisen Co. in Detroit in 1953. It features the iconic map pocket (often called a "D-pocket"), round-rhombus chain zipper pulls, and a built-in kidney panel at the back. This is an early version of the original J-24 that came standard without a belt option or belt loops. The beautiful blue horsehead label paired directly with a black diamond-quilted nylon lining, indicates the jacket is an exceptionally early variant of the Buco J-24 from late 1952 to 1953.
True first-generation example of an iconic American motorcycle jacket in a highly wearable size 40.
