BALENCIAGA Fall/Winter 2022 “Speed Hunters” Upside Down T-Shirt Docking Vintage Damaged Pullover Hoodie

Product Description

This hoodie is a standout piece from the BALENCIAGA Fall/Winter 2022 collection, themed around the brand’s iconic fictional boy band, Speed Hunters. It represents one of the most recognizable narratives developed under the creative direction of Demna.

The design features Demna’s signature “Upside Down” construction, in which a graphic T-shirt is docked to the hem of the hoodie in an inverted orientation. This avant-garde structural approach creates an intentionally disorienting visual effect while functioning as a fully integrated layered garment. The entire piece is treated with heavy vintage washing and realistic distressing, producing authentic fading and damaged textures that reinterpret worn-in streetwear through a luxury lens.

Cut in BALENCIAGA’s characteristic oversized silhouette, the hoodie delivers strong visual impact and a built-in layered presence with a single piece. Among the various Speed Hunters releases, this docking version is especially prized for its complex construction and conceptual clarity, making it a highly regarded archive piece.
