Constructed from a crisp lightweight cotton/nylon blend poplin that has been woven in Japan and treated with a robust down-proof coating on the reverse side. Down filled jackets are normally made from synthetic fabrics - this jacket's cotton content gives it a superior, premium, dry-hand feel. The hood is attached by metal snap fasteners and can be removed if required.

Bear in mind that as with all down jackets there is less room in the interior than the measurements suggest.
