This piece is a dedicated reproduction of the iconic World War II United States Marine Corps P-44 utility uniform trousers, commonly nicknamed 'monkey pants.' Manufactured by the Japanese military repro label YMCL KY, the design faithfully captures the distinctive frogskin camouflage pattern and heavy cotton herringbone twill construction. The garment features the signature oversized rear three-button seat flap compartment originally designed to carry field gear or a poncho. Complete with embossed blackened U.S. Marine Corps wreath donut buttons and dual front utility pockets, it reinterprets the Pacific theater classic into a warm-weather short.
