Regarded as one of the most pivotal collections by Comme Des Garcons Homme Plus, the Spring Summer 2006 runway titled “Lips and Tongue” pays tribute to the legendary rock band The Rolling Stones and the Tongue and Lips logo created in 1970 by Jon Pasche.

The collection greeted us with flamboyantly loud and colorful clothes. This energy was gracefully embraced by Rei Kawakubo in her backstage interview: “Rock is the symbol of energy and rebellion.”

The repetition of the Tongue and Lips logo on all the runway garments is reminiscent of the unofficial design of acid blotter tabs found in the 60s and 70s.

This pair of runway pants features patchwork printed with the iconic Tongue and Lips logo. Comes originally faded.
