Originally issued to United States Marines in 1944, the design is renowned among collectors as the 'Monkey Pant' due to the distinctive snap-fastened rear cargo pouch intended for field rations and poncho storage. Samurai elevates the silhouette using heavy-duty Japanese cotton twill, robust donut button closures, and reinforced double knee paneling.
