What I love about this wonderful vintage backpack rucksack:
Made so many years ago, likely in the 1970s, and is in such beautiful condition.
New cinch cord made from baseball glove lacing and and cinch made from my favorite leather; moose skin. Notice the barrel rolls on the end of the cord. 🙂
The size is perfect for a MacBook of any size. Why carry your treasured MacBook in some ordinary black nylon case when you can carry it in an extraordinary reindeer skin leather case?
I like that it has an aluminum frame to give it some structure. It makes loading it while resting on any surface much easier.
My labor of love in this Backpack is that I added a set of inside and outside grab-and-go handles. A really convenient way to hang on a doorknob, the back of a chair, or a hook in your office weather it is closed or open. Once you tried these handles you will see what a difference they make. They are made of high-quality 7 to 8-ounce moose skin leather. It is my favorite leather in the world. As you can see in the photo with the chair it is perfect to hang on a chair or doorknob.
I have only sold one other reindeer skin leather backpack in my years of selling vintage leather items. The one I sold was made in Sweden. I know the feel of Whitetail Deerskin and this is different. I believe this to be from a Reindeer. One of my trading partners found this for me in Bulgaria. My best guess is that it is made in Sweden or possibly Norway.
I like that it is not heavy as most quality cowhide backpacks are.
It has one zipper pocket that is perfect for your small items you want to access quickly but keep secure. I like that you can access this pocket while the backpack is cinched and the storm flaps are down. A great place for your AirPods and your iPhone.
The measurements in inches are approximately: 12W x 14H x 6D (or if you add the front pocket it is 9D)

As shown in the photos: This bag fits my mock-up wooden MacBook Pro 2019 with the measurements of 13.75" x 9.48" x Thickness 0.61" It may fit a bit larger laptop so please contact me if you want me to measure for your specific laptop.

I have this listed as a Men's bag but any woman who appreciates rugged leather goods could make this work for that perfect rugged look.
