Leather like buttter, CXl or chromexcel leather is the standard for any quality footwear. It patinas beautifully and is very comfortable , which is important for an engineer boot, these are an 11E, purchased through a reputable online heritage clothing site. It is said that an E width fit on the MR.Lou is actually more akin to a D in other footwear. However I believe I would be better suited by an actual D after wearing these E’s for a few days. But I have low volume feet . I haven’t even scuffed them up, only signs of wear is the rolls forming on the shaft and vamp.
