This jacket is an ORIGINAL 2017 first edition version (12/2017 build date) and is part of the HDMC Loud & Proud, casual lifestyle apparel collection.

The retail price was over $175 when brand new. (Current, similar style, lower-quality H-D comparables retail for $250+).

This jacket has only been worn only a handful of times (literally 2-3 times) and remains in excellent, nearly new condition!

DETAILS

The Harley-Davidson Men's 3XL Slim Fit HDMC Patch Nylon Twill Bomber Jacket (P/N 97457-18VM) is designed to have a "washed-and-worn vintage look and casual feel," directly influencing the unique appearance of the HDMC Patch bomber jacket. The nylon twill jacket showcases an enzyme wash which provides an authentic vintage, "lived-in look", while "chunky hardware" provides a rugged, sturdy backbone to the piece.

Jacket Features & Specs

Material & Finish: The shell is constructed from durable, 100% nylon twill, and features an enzyme wash that gives it a very slightly distressed, lived-in feel, and a beautifully smooth satin-style sheen. The lining is 100% polyester.

Fit & Mobility: The fit is sleek, designed to sit closer to the chest and waist, consistent with its bomber jacket styling. It is slightly narrower throughout the body, meaning there is less excess room compared to Harley-Davidson's "Regular" or "Relaxed" fit jackets. If you plan on wearing bulkier items or prefer a much roomier feel, it is generally recommended to size up. (I wore a size 2XL when this was purchased and it fit perfectly, with plenty of room left for layering.)

Hardware: The design incorporates 'chunky hardware", like a sturdy H-D engraved full front zipper with a genuine leather pull, and snaps with engraved Harley-Davidson logos on each side hand warmer pocket, adding to the rugged aesthetic.

Graphics: The jacket is adorned with a nostalgic, vintage style, embroidered yellow and black HDMC 'Loud & Proud' hearty chest patch. It also showcases an additional gray/black embroidered flat patch near the bottom of the zipper, which reads 'HDMC | GENUINE MOTORCYCLES | EST. 1903'. Both H-D patches are near flawless and look amazing on this piece.

The intent of H-D with these design elements is to provide a vintage, customized look similar to the patches often found on classic military flight jackets or motorcycle club vests, without being actual riding club patches which carry specific meanings.

CONDITION

Fabric/Jacket: Easily an 8.5-9/10 (nearly new with very minimal wear), consistent with the amount of use described. The soft and smooth nylon twill is extremely clean, it still has a gorgeous satin-like shine, and has been VERY well-cared for. It has a black color-matching rib-knit collar, cuffs, and waist - all perfectly tight, clean, de-pilled, and perfectly functional.

Lining: Very minimal, (if any) to no wear, consistent with the amount of use described.

There are NO STAINS, HOLES, or STRONG ODORS, etc. Comes from a smoke-free and pet-free home.
