Stunning boots from Dieciseizerotto. 10sei0otto is a brand founded in 2008 by leather craftsman Paolo Barelli and stylist Tiziano Rillo. This item is from a personal collection.
The pair is handcrafted, as befits the brand. The quality is on par with Guidi, A1923, Devoa, Incarnation, etc. This is evident from the unique last, meticulously calculated construction, amazing leather treatment, and overall selection of materials.
Starting from the top, the first thing that catches the eye is the horse leather with a blistered/cracked effect, giving the leather an amazing texture. The color is anthracite, which the camera doesn’t quite capture, but it resembles slightly dried asphalt. Next, there are thick laces cut from leather, which won’t let you down. Waxed laces are also included.
And, of course, the massive yet elegant heel. It is 10 centimeters long, made up of 20 (!) layers of leather. The rest of the sole is leather-based, with a very soft rubber in the middle for pleasant cushioning. There is factory prevention, including a heel pad.
These shoes are imbued with the atmosphere of the 19th century. They are suitable for artisanal brands such as Paul Harnden, John Alexander Skelton, Archivio Ribot, Elena Dawson, Geoffrey B. Small, as well as niche avant-garde brands like Rick Owens, Taichi Murakami, Maurizio Altieri (Carpe Diem), MA+, Uma Wang, Ziggy Chen, Yohji Yamamoto, Ann Demeulemeester.
You can wear them with a long dress, skirt, and even bootcut jeans. A very beautiful and versatile pair, and most importantly, more comfortable than Guidi (thanks to the built-in insole, sole, and last).
The condition is excellent, worn only a couple of times. The heel pad will last a long time. Marked size 38, they fit true to size.
