Maison Margiela’s reconstruction language at its most direct—this AW16 vest reworks classic denim into an inverted, architectural form. Panels are reoriented to create an upside-down composition, shifting familiar lines into something intentionally off-balance yet controlled. The structure sits close through the body while maintaining a rigid, sculptural feel, making it ideal for layering over shirting or lightweight knits. A clear example of Margiela’s ongoing dialogue with deconstruction and garment reinterpretation.

• Reconstructed upside-down denim panel construction
• Structured silhouette with a close, layered fit
• AW16 Margiela deconstruction concept piece
