Seller Description
Before Fine Creek Leather was making jackets themselves, they would produce for other companies. One of these companies was Roar, and one time, for their FW 15 season, they produced a leather jacket with the company that is now known as Fine Creek Leather. I bought this item at the Roar Tokyo store and the sale's person informed me that this jacket is made with Polish horsehide and tanned at Himeji tannery using a combination of aniline and vegetable dyes, aka, the same way FCL makes jackets today.
You can see based on the pictures what this jacket looks like after 2 and 4 months of everyday wear. As you can see, I've only worn this jacket about a dozen or so times before realizing it wasn't for me, so it has tons of life left!
Some features of this jacket are:
Polish horsehide tanned at Himeji tannery using aniline and vegetable dyes
Smooth gliding double Raccagni zipper
Damask jacquard lining
Cupro lined sleeves
Western style buckles at the back
One piece back (looks cleaner and is higher quality than multiple panels)
Made in Japan
Condition: 7/10, zipper tape is a bit damaged but it still zips up fine.
Measurements:
Shoulder: 16
Pit to Pit: 18.5
Length: 26.5
Arm: 22.5
Black
