Seller Description
Nike HTM.
For sale is a pair of mythic rare 2007 (some reports say 2008) Nike HTM x fragment design Air Force 1 '07 sneakers in the Croc Leather 'Baroque Brown' colourway. As you can see by the nine 9's below the barcode, this pair is a SAMPLE. This pair is tagged a size US 13.
Originally, the Nike store at 21 Mercer Street was intended to be a special concept store that only sold Air Force 1 sneakers as a tribute to New York City and their love for the AF1 (as per DJ Clark Kent who was involved in the project). This pair was designed to be released at the launch of this store, however, the store became a NikeLab/bespoke studio location and these were scrapped. A wider release of the sneakers never came and one magazine from the time reported that only 48 pairs were produced. Recently, a BNIB pair of these sold for $6,249.00 CAD.
'HTM' stands for Hiroshi (as in, Hiroshi Fujiwara - founder of GOODENOUGH and fragment design), Tinker (as in, Tinker Hatfield - designer of iconic Nike products such as the Air Jordan III and Air Max 1), and Mark ( as in, Mark Parker - former CEO of Nike). This project represented products where the three creatives came together to design a pair of sneakers. These were usually extremely limited, however what makes this pair special (besides being a SAMPLE from an awesome-sounding botched retail concept) is that the actual fragment design thunderbolt logo was featured on the heel in beautiful high quality embroidery. This is extremely rare and other HTM classics like the Moc's, Kobe's, or Flyknit's don't even feature the thunderbolt logo.
The second photo in the listing is my original photograph of the actual shoes you will be buying which has been reposted on several mood-board/repost Instagram pages including welcome.jpg as well as hidden.ny.
The shoes are in good used condition. Slight scuff on the toebox of one shoe. General signs of wear throughout. Creasing on the toe-box. No OG box included. The quality on these is nuts. The stitiching is extremely precise and they weight a significant amount compared to your average AF1.
Lastly, there are actually some fakes of these floating around, however, they're extremely crude and look nothing like the real thing. Needless to say, this is not one of them.
All photographs in the listing were taken by me of the exact product the buyer will receive.
This is a 100% authentic product.
