Hopefully if you’re here, you’re already aware how legendary and epic BERLUTI shoes are (really everything BERLUTI makes is at this ultra-high standard). One of their signature looks are these rugged lug sole shoes (see extensive photo reference) with their world-famous burnished patina. Though often imitated, BERLUTI were the originators of this look and have it perfected. It adds depth, dimension and character while creating a jaw-dropping aesthetic. This is why they look equally amazing dressed up with sartorial looks, or going casual with jeans – they elevate everything around them, it’s the “halo effect” of having elite footwear!

Kirby Allison of The Hanger Project did an amazing 2-part series on YT going into BERLUTI to see the process of how they craft these works of art; it’s just staggering how much goes into it – it’s well worth watching if you’re considering these!

As much of a diehard TOM FORD fan as I am, BERLUTI quality is just unreal. My tailor agreed and she has worked on everything! She couldn’t believe the craftsmanship and attention to detail. She shortened the sleeves a touch on a Berluti suede jacket for me and told me inside it had four layers going on. Even more unbelievable, she said where most brands cut corners in places people would never view, Berluti actually went the extra mile and ADDED details no one will ever see! We found this again opening up a quilted puffer section I wanted her to slim down and it had four levels and layers of stitching inside one simple quilted panel! That tells you everything you need to know. These are literal works of art! (see photo reference for their renowned artisan craftsmanship).

BERLUTI have been around since 1895 and are world famous for their hand burnished patina on their shoes. It’s become a signature of quality, often imitated, but no one can match their skill and execution. I can only imagine the endless hours of elbow grease that went into creating this masterpiece (evident in the price). It will continue to develop a personal patina with wear that looks rugged and masculine.

Selling this for a friend. I’d love to add these to my collection, but unfortunately they’re not my size. Shoes only, no box or dust bags.

SIZE NOTE
My friend is a size 7.5 US (6.5 UK). The size note hand-written inside seems to indicate a 6.5 which would be correct as they go by UK sizing. I don’t normally accept returns, but will make an exception in this case for this reason.
