Here is available for purchase a Raf Simons "Kollaps" Sleeveless Oversized Hoodie

Amazing hoodie made of a french-terry cotton fabric. Easily in the top 3 of the most iconic, legendary and important Raf Simons pieces ever made in his career, as well as, in archive fashion culture in general. We got here the "Kollaps" hoodie.

Designed by Belgium graphic designer and artist Peter De Potter, the latest features a signature collage-like print on the front, with a red sewn patche of a wolf, featuring a few different graphics and words put together, highlighting perfectly the artistic direction and emotions behind Raf's Spring 2002 groundbreaking show. Between "Just born too late" or "Stand! Evasion", the hoodie emphasizes well this idea of rebellious youth that is key in Simons's legacy.

We also find removable velcro epaulettes on the shoulders, giving a more agressive look, as well as, a large monochromatic printed patch sewn on the middle of the back of the garment. It shows, what appears to be, a still that Peter took from an old movie, maybe from the 50's/60's, probably depicting a woman holding a grenade during war, another subtle reference reminding us the narrative behind this collection.

Typical one size, baggy fit, that Raf used a lot during the early 2000's for his oversized hoodies. Raglan cut with an overly wide chest where the sleeves have been intentionally cut off giving these raw edges.

As worn during the catwalk on 4 different looks and featured in many fashion editorials back then. From what I understood, this mint light blueish colour is one of the rarest iterations made for this hoodie, with one of the most limited runs of production done compared to other variations.

Overall, a truly amazing and legendary piece of contemporary fashion history that is only going to increase in value over time and becoming harder and harder to find in the next few years, decades. Sentimental value I have with this garment : I am in no rush to sell whatsoever. Strongly recommended, an opportunity to own a real iconic menswear item, don't miss!

Additional notes : Epaulettes are not original and have been made professionally by a tailor following the measurements of a real set of epaulettes used on an other Kollaps hoodie who had the original ones.
