From one of Rei Kawakubo’s most prophetic collections titled “Transcending Gender.” where she considered the sexual politics of tailoring. This is easily a museum piece.

This skirt is impossibly oversized with a 70 inch waist. It is designed to be wrapped in on itself (see runway photo), but can be worn in virtually any way the wearer desires. It come with an original safety pin that was included with the garment to allow for customizable fit. It features a shoulder strap that is purposefully twisted.

Tagged Size M, but fits all sizes.
Skirt is 26 inches in length.
