The theme of the show was "Easy Rider". Stretch, leather, metallic, & other skin-perfect materials were used to create a three-hole motif based on the design of a Ferrari steering wheel. Incorporated into the runway in various ways, We saw a the motif on the majority of garments long sleeve shirts, jackets boots where the while the sole of the shoe was a flame-spewing wheel. Orange switches on the sleeves on many tops were representing airbags. By casting fearless models with well-built bodies, the collection translated the speedy world of motorsports into mode.

The Dirk Bikkembergs SS97 Collection conveide that essence perfectly. Seamlessly blending sportswear with formal suits the runway truly saw how these ideals can work in union. The orange from the boot representing a flame-spewing wheel strikes with a strong bright color adding a dash to the silhouette. Following Dirks classic theme throughout the boots having a beautiful polished black leather along with a squared off front box inspired from mountaineering & ski boots.
